After dewinterizing my 1989 Four Winns Freedom 170 with OMC Cobra 2.3, I failed to reinstall the two upper outdrive water drain plugs before starting it. I had removed them to drain it before winter and left them out because I had planned to replace them due to boogered slots. I hooked up the water muffs with hose on and ran the motor to operating temperature for perhaps 10 minutes. All was well with the temperature and operation etc. but… could I have caused any damage? Everything ran fine but I thought I ought to ask. Thanks in advance for any help.
