OMC Cobra expert needed

I can't find a model # on my outdrive. My boat is a 88 Four Winns 215 Sundowner, originally equipped with a 5.0. Outdrive is a Cobra, but don't know which model, making it impossible, for me at least, to find a manual. Anyone know if (# 507708)dated 1987 would work? How different could they be?

How about a model # off the engine should be on the rocker cover or thermostat housing somewhere.
