Omc Cobra impeller replacement sealant

I am think of replacing my impeller on 4.3 91 Cobra drive.I have new impeller and gasket and manual but to the life of me I can find sealant manual calls for.I am talking of sealant for 3 bolt housing.What can I use for this that I can get at auto parts store.One of the 3m products or what?

permatex liquid in the can. it comes with a brush. just don't overdo it.

You can buy the recommended OMC sealant at any local Johnson/Evinrude dealer.
