Have a 1990 4.3 Cobra with the Splitfire ignition.Starts fine on muffs, get up to temp.still starts fine.Put in water starts fine, run it for awhile and stop, starts fine.Wait 45 mins or more and cranks and cranks, but doesn't start.I replaced fuel pump, which had fuel in clear line,so I know it was bad.Still have starting problem. When it won't start I have looked down the carb,(Holley 4 bbl) and it does pump gas out jets.Any thoughts?I was thinking of maybe oil pressure switch. Is it normally open or closed? In other words does the oil pressure switch show open when no oil presure or closed and will it let you crank the engine if it is bad? This condition start right up after I crank and crank on it for seems like several mins of cranking.

Check the inline fuse at the positive battery cable

I have checked all fuses and circuit breakers all check good. When it does start it runs great,no missing or anything till I stop again. It will start fine 5 mins after I stop, and ten mins etc,but if I wait 45 mins or so it cranks and cranks but no start, then all of a sudden I'll turn key and it starts right up.
