Hello,<br /> I am hoping to get some assistance in placing my stern drive back on.I have a 1988 Bayliner Cierra 305 Chevy engine. My stern drive is a Cobra Omc 1988 serial# 565218. The problem is that my u-joint doesn't turn. I've been told to turn the propeller to turn the u-joint. Everyone that I've spoken to said it should turn. It seems to be locked in gear. My shift rod seems to not go into gear smoothly when placing in reverse. I had removed and installed the stern drive on before and the u-joint seemed to turn. I've found it to be easier to place back on with the first u-joint vertical. I guess the big question is,"Is something wrong with my Cobra stern drive?
