I have a 1987 OMC Cobra with a 5.o l motor. I need to know what the hydralic hose routing is. From the motor to manifold and to each ram. I can't find a drawing on this any where. please help....

Re: OMC Cobra tilt trim hose routing

Lines connect the valve body to the transom manifold which directs fluid to both cylinders. You probably know this much.
I'm looking the the manual and it has a schematic which make it a little difficult.

In trying to decipher the drawing.... the lines feeding the back of the cylinders go through the manifold on the starboard side and appear to go to the back of the pump. The lines feeding the front of the cylinders go through the manifold portside and to the front of the pump near (under) the pressure release valve.

Does this help?

I appreciate the help.

Whats important is what line goes where in relation to the manifold. I need to know exactly which pump line goes to which port. As well as from the maifold to the rams.

Understandable.
The thing that bothers me is the schematic shows the valve lines horizontal.
The pictures show them horizontal Of course all the pics are close ups.
I can check mine - that outta put it to rest. But I won't be able to do so until Friday if you can hang on.
