omc cobra tilt trim line leak

Found a leak in one of my lines whats the easiest way to replace or fix the line it looks like there is no way to get to the line from inside the engine compartment at the manifold side.... The leak is at a spot that i can get to can i cut an put in a fitting an if so what kind should i use.it also looks like in my service manual i can get to the mnifold by pulling the outdrive off an removing the manifold from that side by oulling the lines thru the bore hole an replace the line that way is that recomended..please help want to get back in the water............

Ayuh,... Get a New line, 'n replace it as explained in yer manual....
