I had to partially disassemble this control in order to get it out of the boat.
I do not recall exactly where the levers were mounted to the shafts.
The handle shaft has 3 detented positions about 45 degrees ea. near the center of the full travel.
Can someone point me to a comprehensive description of how this is intended to operate ?
I sort of get the throttle part, but what is the other lever and why the isolation button ?
Is there an electrical shift in the out drive ? Fwd and Rev ?
Thanks

the controls wont do you any good anyway, you were scraping the whole driveline.

Yes, but I have another project for this control.
2 solenoids for the f & r and the main cable for the throttle.
I think I can figure it out and make it work with the switches included.
A lot like a standard outboard box but electric shift instead of mechanical.
The rack n pinion steering box is bass ackwards too, but it is reversible.
Thanks.

The controls would only work on electric shift

Steering cable and helm are cheep, no need to try to salvage

The outboards for a short time had solenoids to move the shift rod in the gearcase. OMC electric shift drives had electro magnets as well as the outboards up to when the exhaust exited through the center of the propeller.
The control you have can be adapted to any other marine application with the addition of another 3300 series cable in place of the electric shift switch.
You did not say what you were going to use the control for.
