I have a few questions that hopefully someone out there can answer. The manual doens't tell me much. I have a 1988 Four Winns Sundowner 215 with 5.0 V8 Cobra. My sensor for my drive seems to need adjusting but the manual doesn't tell me much. The gauge works alittle but when the drive is all the way down the needle is at the high part of the guage. Now if I take my hand and move the arm by the sensor it moves the needle all the way to the bottom. But the lower unit doesn't seem to go far enough down to push the arm but indeed the lower unit is all the way down. Does anyone know how to adjust this or know why it's not functioning properly? My second question is I had a car carb on the boat before when I bought it but put re-built the original carb. I also had to order a new choke. For right now I have it wired open. It looks like the choke needs to have a arm to the carb from the spring. Is there a arm that connects the choke to the carb? Is there anyplace to veiw a pic? Please help. These are minor problems but I am trying to figure them out. Could I need a new sensor? Are they expensive? It is working but just not in the right place where it should be. Thanks Shane
