I installed and electronic ignition with no luck. When I hook up the power lead for the ignition to the resistor and it causes the voltage supplied to the coil to drop from 11.7 volts to 5.1. Coming out of the coil it drops to 1 volt. I've been reading some of the issues on the site and they reference a diagram for a circuit that can be built with parts from Radioshack when you have an ESA module. Do you think this could be my problem? As far as the diagram, can I use standard 14 gauge wire that be my terminal points? Or, should I just stick with points? Any advice would be appreciated.
