I have been buying OMC "FICHT Ram" oil from my dealer in bulk and it has always been a purple color, same as in the OEM-branded jugs.<br /><br />Today I bought some and it was blue. They said that it was the same (HD50, I think) but the manufacturer had changed the color of the dye.<br /><br />Can anyone confirm what is going on here? The blue oil had the same odor as the purple as far as I could tell, which is always different than plain old TCW3.
