Considering a rebuilt 302 block to replace merc 188/302. OMC valve covers are marked 175 HP. Approximately what year did OMC put out the 175/302? Will new merc manifolds/parts bolt up? Searched and could not find info. Still pondering repower issues. Know that merc stopped 302 in 1977. Thanks
