Hello, considering an omc king cobra that is presently damaged. I understand these are difficult to get parts for. Does anyone have a reliable new old stock supplier? Also the specific part I need is the transom assembly plate. What price should I find this for? Anyone know of the part? I will include pics and thank you for your help on this. I know these can be tricky to find.

OMC went out of business 20 years ago. There are no NOS stockpiles. Any parts have long been sold

It would be cheaper to sell all the OMC parts and swap in a complete Mercruiser or Volvo long tail ( controls to prop) than trying to fix your OMG stuff

Thanks for the reply. Looking like based on the research it's a no go on the king cobra. I've always stuck to mercs for my projects, and this was my first step outside that. Very much a shame, as it's an excellent boat otherwise. Certainly I'd have more into it than it's worth. My other concern is parts available for future mechanical issues....just going to be harder and harder to find with = $$$
