I just put a new power pack on the right side of my engine (87 johnson 200hp I orginally thought it was a 89) because of no spark. I get spark on that side but the engine does not turn off with the key switch. I replaced the shift interrupt switch at the same time. When the shift interrupt switch is pushed instead of lowering the idle it stalls the engine. When you turn the key off the idle goes lower. In the repair book it says that there is two different packs one for the left and one for the right. The store said they can be interchanged. Has anyone had this problem or know's if there is two different packs.
