Hello

Was looking around for some props for my 115 opti, found an OMC 13x19 in decent shape. Will it fit and what mods may be needed to make it fit? Can the hub be changed out in it maybe to work on my motor? What about a universal hub, does such a thing even exist?

Thanks

Some of the newer BRP props had a Replaceable Hub, but I have never seen an OMC Prop with one. The cost of rehubbing it to fit the Merc would about 1/2 the price of a new Prop. So I doubt you would be saving any money, cost of the Prop added to the rehub

Interesting question...but being honest...I don’t know why you’d ever need to wonder such a thing. I think that without doubt, merc not only have the widest and most available range of props...but also the best in quality too. That lovely optimax surely deserves a right good merc prop ?

Mercury does make Excellent Props and has a very Large Selection, but they do cost a bit more, and People want Cheap. My Enertia was $550(Canadian Dealer Cost in 2005), so it has cost me a Whopping $36.67/yr to own.

yeah, I decided not to go after that one. Looking for a nice stainless one, theres one nearby i'm interested in, have to go have a look at it. Also was considering aluminum since I boat in rocky places and I might want something softer that would have a little more "give" if I hit something
