My OMC remote control for Evinrude 140 yr 1990 can not be locked in neutral position with shift lock lever. I observed that a round, white plastic plate where the red shift lock lever use to lock to is loose. This plate is located between remote control lever and the remote control body. I try to disassmble the remote control lever from it's axle but nothing move ( I have no diagram).<br /><br />Anyone know how to disassemble this remote control and correct the problem, please help. I'd like to repair this by myself.<br /><br />Thanks.
