working on a 1963johny 9.5 gear case the shift shaft has a bushing with a o-ring under it. does anyone know the tool number of the driver that removes it?
a.d.mobile,<br />Just find a punch or bolt that "just" fits in the hole from the other side and lightly tap it out. Make sure it fits the larger hole and not the through hole for the shaft. Be carefull noot to damage the hole in the bushing or you will have to have it reamed to make it good again, or maybe replace the bushing. Once it's out just replace the o-ring and tap the bushing back in.
