OMC Stern Drive. King Cobra or Not?

I have purcashed lower OMC unit advertised as King Cobra. The serial nomber on the upper section I was told was T0433907. How can I tell if I got the King Cobra or not?

OMC used the name "King Cobra" fairly loosely back in the late 80's and early to mid 90's

It's helpful to know what you're going to put this lower on (make/model)

Some of the KING Cobra's also look exactly like a regular Cobra. Except for the decals and insignias. Since you have a serial number, do you have the other numbers off that tag? What year is it, what gear ratio, etc.
Since OMC doesn't exist anymore, not many people have any way to find anything by serial number alone.
