Hello all, I recently took off the outdrive to put some new seals. After a frustrating time putting the outdrive back on. I finally took the boat out to the lake, however forward gear will not engage, when i trim all the way up it sometimes gets in gear. I tried to make some adjustments with the shift cable but I may have been doing more harm then good. Do I need a new shift cable, or is is that that adjustments made to the cable are not right? Does anyone have a tip on how to accomplish this task? I believe that I may have accidently moved the shift gear on the outdrive when it was off, however I belive i set it back in neutral gear. Please help. Sorry so long!!
