OMC Tilt issue

Hello everyone,

I am new and just purchased an 87 Bayliner Trophy. It has a GM 5.0l and the power tilt was working when we purchased it. However, I had to replace the drive unit with the help of another iboats member and everything is cool. However, I was able to tilt the drive down to test it and not the drive is not going back up. The solenoids are clicking and I am getting power out to the green and blue wires going to the pump housing. Not sure what to check. Any suggestions would be great.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,....

My guesses are Bad ground, or Bad motor...

Ok I will check both now and I am also going to put a charger on the older batteries and hook up a jump box and try it again.

Just an FYI. All I needed was a hammer to whack it! The motor is going bad.
