OMC to Bombi Control Compatability

I just bought a binnacle mount OMC control from a mid nineties 60 HP. This is the red plug control that has the key/kill switch and trim all in one.<br /><br />Will this control work with a new e-tec 60 HP?

The wiring connectors were changed in 1996. You will need an adapter kit that is available from your dealer, plus you will need the 4 lite SystemCheck tach or the 2" gauge.

Thanks Seahorse. I always liked those all in one OMC binnacle mounts. Now I know it's safe to cut a hole in the console.
