I have a 1988 3.0 OMC engine with a bad 2bbl carb. The Omc carb is past the point of being re-buildable. Can the OMC / Rodchester carb be replaced with a Mercury carb and if needed a merc intake manifold ?
This is a great question for a carb rebuilder and they can answer it in one 3 min. call. OMC used non-OMC carbs and most of them are interchangable. So it looks like yes to me.
