Hi all,
Just in the process of resealing the upper unit on my 1978 OMC 400 Stringer. I've purchased a seal kit for this model, and it appears that they have included the wrong size of seals for the vertical driveshaft bearing housing. (the two back to back seals that are directly above the water pump).
The ones included in the kit are too small in outside and inside diameters.
I would like to just order these seals from a local bearing supply house if I can. Does anyone have the numbers I will need so that they can reference the seals? I will make sure to get stainless steel seals.
Thanks in advance,
-Ryan
