OMC800 shift cable replacement Q's

Has anyone replaced the shift cable on an OMC800 stringer? Got the manual but it looks a little touchy... It's a '78 240 hp.

hey man if you got the manual go step by step and it will work out. take pictures then refer to them when installing new cabel.<br /> avoid the use of alcohol if uncertin of the task!
