Hi All, what would cause an OMS Pump to click constantly whilst at idle. I understand that the click is an indication of the pump operating, but this one is clicking every two to three seconds whilst idling. I can't find any fuel line leaks that would allow air into the system. is it possible to pressurize the fuel line with a compressor from the tank end to the carbies without damaging anything. What else should i look for. It is new fuel purchased only a couple of days ago and i have a water separator/fuel filter inline as well. It is a BJ115TLERC 94 115hp Johnnierude. Thanks. on a different tack, I am in Australia and it seems like most of the people on here are from the States, it is currently 1000hrs here friday the 26 Mar. when is the best time to post questions for the greatest number of answers. G'day to all.

Yeah mate im havn the same trouble with my 150 ocean pro.The oil side of the pump is working fine but it just wont pump fuel.Fills the carbies with oil.Pulled the pump apart, looks fine.If you put 15psi of air in the pulse fitting,it shouldn leak air out of the fuel outlet on the pump.Mine did abit so they reckon the shaft seal is the problem.Just put the pump on my brothers johnno and it worked fine.Got me beat.Check if yours is leaking around the housing joins, they tend to worp.Let me know how you go.
