On a lighter note, we spent the night in our new river cottage!

Better late than never on the settlement, it was a pretty complicated deal.<br /><br />I went out on the pier Saturday and looked upstream, downstream and across and the only man-made thing I saw was a channel marker.<br /><br />I feel like the luckiest fellow alive.<br /><br />Jinx<br /><br />I wish I new how to get digital photos down to a size that was manageable to post

Are you connected to a lake?? I just purchased a riverside cottage myself last november. We are a 15Min boat ride to a 1500 acre recreational lake..<br /><br />We are looking forward to the spring when we can actually start using it.<br /><br />I was up there on sunday putting in a new water heater and got my Expedition stuck in about 18" of wet compacted snow. I had to have a wrecker pull me out.<br /><br />I'll see if I can post some pics as well.

WOW, it looks like paradise, so pristine and beautiful, I can almost hear the birds chirping and frogs croaking. Congratulations jinx its a beautiful sight.

It went through Hurricane Isabel with dry feet.<br /><br />Not on a lake, but a tidal creek off the Rappahannock River. <br /><br />It ends a two year search and begins a multi-year mortgage!<br /><br />Thanks, Jinx

Congrats on the new hidaway jinx. Looks real good from the picture.<br /><br />Uhhhhh.....don't suppose we could hold JB's 10,000th post party there do ya'???? Last time we had a parta at JB's he got mad....something about who's gonna clean up this place. <br /><br />Enjoy the what you have and so many of us wish we had.
