on deck fuel tank

I have a 35 HP Evinrude w/ a 6 gallon metal gas tank. It rusted out, and that is probably the reason I can't find metal tanks for sale.

All of the reviews of the plastic tanks (that I have found) point out leaks, broken caps, poor seals, etc. I've looked at the following - anybody have any experience with these or other tanks? Can I assume that you just get what you pay for?

Bombardier - $55 (w/ gauge and quick disconnect)
Tempo - $42 (includes hose, pump, all fittings)
MOELLER $21 (no OMC fitting)

Thank you for any insight,
****

All three of those are reliable tanks.

Avoid any other brand.

I know the Tempo is good. Also a good deal.

Any plastic tank will develop problems if left out in the sun.

The metal tanks go for about $115, so few places will stock them.
Lots of used ones available at your local rummage sales.
