Onboard charger install for '03 Fisherman

I bought a Dual Pro 2 bank onboard charger for my '03 1800 Fisherman and wanted to know if anyone else who has this model boat were is your charger mounted. I want to mount it right in the center floor storage of the boat where my trolling batteries are but not quite sure on how to secure it. Would it be ok to use sheet metal screws but then thought no because they may come loose after time due to vibration and not sure exactly what is under that part of the hull. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Hey jkollar, nice looking Lund. That Fisherman is a heckuva boat.

I don't have an answer for you except to say you will probably get more response if you post this in the Electrics, Electronics and Trolling Motors section. As nice as it is to have a separate Lund section, there isn't a whole lot of traffic here. Questions like this come up all the time in the EE&TM section and there are people there who know what's what. Good Luck.

Woobey has a 2003 Fisherman for sale on e-bay with lots of photos, including one of the forward compartment with the installed charger. Try search of "Lund Fisherman", but do it soon before the auction ends. -Ken
