Re: One last time......
If you are using an aftermarket manual that covers 50 years and 100 different horsepowers. You are better off getting your parts from a local dealer, and maybe get some advice on how to fix the engine problems. Online ordering is for people that know what to order and why they need it. It can save you money for big ticket items, but for small purchases get a local person to help make the right decision. The price savings are not that great.

I have learned the hard way that those aftermarket manuals are not that great in diagnosing problems. In fact they are not for anyone serious about working on their motor.

There is a good website called Mastertech
at
www.maxrules.com He has alot of great information on servicing old motors and does sell a lot of parts. I think he is a little high, but he is a good resource for all kinds of troubleshooting and old engine issues.

Just my opinion. Good luck.

Arlan
