One of my favorite teams won today!

It was a hard-fought battle, but my Ohio State Buckeyes won over NC State, 22-14. Can't say the Buckeyes beat them any more than NC State beat themselves with 13 penalties and 5 turnovers, but Hey, a win's a win. Doesn't have to be 'pretty'! Mike Nugent kicked 5 field goals for the Buckeyes, the longest a 50-yarder!<br />My other favorite team, whoever plays Michigan, lost to those 'heathens up North' today, so it was a bittersweet day.<br />Hope your favorite team won, as well.<br />GO Bucks!! 3 - 0!<br /><br />

LOL at JB .... S.C. fan JB? WOW! - You're in Texas Tho!?!?! <br /><br />Just as long as the Big Ten comes out on top I'm happy. OSU has a good squad this year I've always liked OSU for the rivalry games with the UW never know from season to season who's going to come out on top.<br /><br />- I'm just a little upset that Wisconsin allowed it's first TD of the season in their win against Arizona ... the Defense has got to tighten up more!!

Ruh-Roh, hope I haven't spawned the wrath of the "Ancient Mariner" (meant with all due respect, Sir!)... Still friends, I hope?!

<br /><br />If it makes you feel better, JB, I thought that if NC St hadn't shot themselves in the foot so many times, they would've given the Buckeyes a strong run for their money, similar to last year's triple-overtime game.

pardon the type-o .. meant N.C.State JB<br /><br />Did a years schooling at UNCC and tried to figure out the horse paths they had for roads there.<br /><br />sounds like last years match-up was a nutty game .. I don't recall it.<br /><br />have a good one

Brian huge Buckeye fan myself for over 30 years. New quarterback same game nail biter to the end. Ranked #7 going in this game. Didn't help much in the polls but who cares. A win is a win. Bengals (second favorite team) beat Dolphins w/ 2 seconds on the clock. A wins a win. I can't remember the last time Cincy was 500

Our boys (Bulldogs) squeaked by Marshall, almost as your Buckeyes did last week. I think UGA and OSU are eerily similar in the ability to play down to whoever is playing. I'll agree, though, a W is a W. And it didn't hurt us in the rankings either (yet!). I've got a feeling our teams are gonna meet before too long -- And that'll be a fun one. Got lots of in-laws that are OSU fans/alumni. Good luck the rest of the way.
