One Piece or Two Piece Lower Unit

I have a 1975 Chrysler 75hp with a two piece lower unit. I bought a box of parts that included a one piece lower unit, complete with prop and water pump. Is this lower unit interchangeable with mine? Thanks, eddy622611

No, they are completely different in bolt pattern and size, not to mention that the two piece lower has a one inch longer drive shaft.

However, the one piece lower unit is about 1-3 MPH faster than the two piece and there is a far greater prop selection.

You can adapt the one piece lower to your engine by changing the midleg. All other components will swap.

If you want to do this, send me a private message--I can supply you with a one piece midleg inexpensively.
