One quick and easy question ...

When laying the floor, how do you secure floor against side of hull. When ripping it out it looks as if they used a putty of some sort??? Also should we taper the edge of floor to angle of hull? Thanks a lot!

Oh lets get a boat, do some fishing....spend a summers month repairing the stinkin thing!! =)

Hay acupajoe all i did was glass it in put screws in the stringers , but on the edges I just put two layers of 10.5 oz eglass , John

Thanks wasn't quite sure. Though I might use some of that peanut butter stuff I keep reading about. Recipes.com didn't have the formula =) I think I found it with a dilgent search here.

I used pl constructoin adhesive for bonding and to fill small gaps, then when set, covered it with glass and epoxy

Deck or sole. Boats do not have floors.
