So I'm in the process of doing an engine swap. I took off my alpha one gen+ outdrive a while back and today I noticed that one cylinder is extended further than the other. How can I match them back up? I'm not ready to install the outdrive just yet but should be soon. Is there a way I can do this manually. I'm assuming without opening any valves this will be impossible.

Push one in, the other will extend out. Hook them together, they will work the same.

I've done this in the past and it's worked with no ill effects, I put the outdrive back on, then put the bushings in one ram, put the pin through the drive, work the trim up and down till they are aligned, push the pin through the other ram. Good luck
