Ooopps!!!

Was loading my boat on the trailer in rough water, Iusualy pull the boat on no problem but this time with the waves and catching a wake at the same time the stern dropped down and chewed up my prop. Now I need to di out my dial guages and see if I bent the shaft before I take it out with a back up prop[/I]

You need to tilt the engine/outdrive up before you go to get the trailer.

Why was there a wake at the launch?

i dont understand.....before i get to my trailer, the outdrive is about 1/4 the way up. and it goes up another 1/4 as i idle onto the trailer. then engine gets shut off and drive comes all the way up after that. how did the running engine and turning prop hit the ground at the ramp???

yeah, skeg should have hit bottom first.
