Hi guys.

I just got home from the lake and I had a fealing the engine was running hot. The warning horn did not previously work so I bought a replacement. The engine did not seam any hotter then it previously has but it is so hot to the touch. I can hold my hand on it for a second at most. The alarm did not go off, and I know it works because if I ground either of the 2 wires the alarm goes off. My question is: should you be able to hold your and on the engine after running it at wot, or should it be as hot as I described.

Next time I go out I will get an ir thermometer but I'm curious as what is normal for this engine.

Water is circulating so I know it isn't lacking water.

Any input would be great.

Thank you
