Sea rays will hold up. Mine is a 92 and the interior original and the gelcoat shines like a dream. Of course it all depends on how the boat was cared for. Have the engine/drive looked at. Pressure test etc.

150hrs is nice. Get it to a mechanic and have it really checked out. When I bought mine they said it only had 30 hrs on it. I couldn't believe it. I took it to my mechanic to have it checked out before I bought it. Needless to say he told me if I wasn't going to buy it, he would. Just feels good to know what you are spending your money on.

Shirley, The power for that hull is a good choice. I have an '88 19' SeaRay bowrider with that powerplant(mine has a 4 bbl carb). You can load it with people and it will still pull waterskiiers. I have a 21Pitch SS Rapture prop. It will turn max RPM with a light load and give 40+ MPH. It is also pretty good on gas, if you stay off the secondaries, and cruise on the primaries.

I have not had good luck with the hull. It has serious gelcoat fade (mauroon hull). I have had trouble with the plywood in the seats, motor cover and bolsters rotting out I have replaced it all. I also had the hull crack last year. Hey it was a bit rough in the bay, but it should never have cracked under that stress. On the good side, the boat has done what I needed and wanted it to do, and always (well except for one ignition module failure two years ago) brought me home.
