opinions on 98 2050 ls with 5.7l ???

thinking about picking this boat up and was wondering what kind of rep these boats have? price is cheap for around here, $5600. most others in this year here are 8-10k, not in perfect shape but interior is excellent and with a good detail, buff and a little touch-up i can turn it into a real nice boat...

Check carefully for rot even though this boat isn't from the horror years of Bayliner quality.

sweet boat, plenty of room. nice lay flat middle seats and the rear deck is great for swimming and getting in and out of the water. v-8 has plenty of power compared to the 3.0L in my last boat. built in depth gauge and compass are awesome. huge ski well, and under the rear seat is the perfect spot for a set of 6x9 speakers.
