Hi folks,
I'm considering purchasing this boat ( used)
Any opinions if this is good choice for fishing ?
The only time the bottom will be landed on stones
is when the boat will be lunched and than pulled out of the watter
( I go out 6 times a week)
They don't talk about the hull of the boat much in those specs

Thanks

looks like a nice set up, a stone, rock or concrete bottom is never good on any boat. try your best to stay off the stone. maybe a keel guard.

Scouts are very good boats, often compared to Grady White and Boston Whaler.

If you are going to beach it on rocks or gravel put a KeelGuard on it.

our local water patrol has a scout boat. just talked to the patrolman the other day and he said it was a real stable work platform for him. and very seaworthy too......

Toughest hull for a stone beach is a poly hull. See Triumph boats.
