Hello, I have a 1987 Suzuki DT200. She's an old one, but has served me well. Now that she's turning 18 the oil injection has me concerned. A lot of people on other sites claim after a motor hits 10 years of age you shouldn't rely on the oil injection pump anymore, and just switch to premix. So I wanted to see what fellow suzuki and yami owners think. Any opinions?

dump the injection and mix it yourself.injection is nice, but what happens when it fails?or if an oil line breaks?you could get lucky and have the temp sensor kick in (if it works)and shut it down or you could have an extra hole in the block!

Do some searches here on the subject. You should find quite a few. I think most seem to agree to stick with the injection.
