Opinions please - 1996 Bayliner 2050 LS

I am looking at buying a 1996 Bayliner 2050 LS. It has a strong, well maintained 5.7L Merc and Alpha drive. The boat has a few scratches and small seat rips (looks like normal wear and tear). The port side vent window is missing, and is really the only glaring damage I see. The owner is looking for $6k for the boat and a solid single-axle trailer.

What are people's experiences with these boats? What do you think of the price (this is in Northern California)?

Any comments would be appreciated...

I think 6K is a little high but I haven't seen the boat. Gee, why is the window missing? Collision ?

Good point, thanks... I actually hadn't thought of that. I thought 6K was a little high, too, especially in this economy
