Steury 18 foot 150 merc

Howdy all, my fishing buddy is looking at this beauty, Does anybody have in info on this brand? Is this a good ball park price?

I've told him everything I've learned here about used boats, like get a survey, take a check ride, etc.

Price looks a bit high for my area depending on how old the OB is. I'm thinking closer to $3k. Odd that the OB doesn't seem to be in the picture, though.

Condition is obviously key, but I'd go look at this one and see where things go. If it's in amazing condition, I might be willing to pay the extra for it.

Little bit on the manufacturer HERE. Probably fits the same category as most of the other boats built during that era: "me too!" Fiberglass boat builders were a dime a dozen, but well preserved most of them were decent enough boats.
