Opinions wanted, 2006 115 4 stroke

I am buying a newer boat! It has the stated above motor. I have always had two strokes and much older motors. I find the quieter motor nice but strange. I am wondering what kind of things to be on the look out for. I read a few people had issues with steam leaking into the heads after warranty of course! Obviously I will be getting a manual, I like to know everything there is to know about anything I own that runs. I heard Suzuki made the powerheads. I have to fix the tach, that doesn't work.
Any heads up advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The boat is a Sea Hunt 186, dual console type, I will be fishing and cruising with it. Bringing the family cruising is the reason I went bowrider style.
