The access holes under the bow cushions are small. I have owned and seen the new Bayliner 175's, which are about the same size, have an elongated access port. Can I/ should I/ would you take a skill saw and enlarge the holes to make them more user friendly? I can't see how it would be structural or cause the cushion to sag (not going to take THAT much out). Plus, the cushion is on a plywood base.

Thoughts?

Sounds like something I would do, just so the cushion bases have enough support is all that matters.

I'd sawzall 'em up , you can always make hinged lids for them , if the seats don't quite fit afterwards

just make sure to properly seal any cut surfaces to prevent water intrusion into the glass.
