Opti Idle Temp?

My twin 2001 150 Optis idle at two different temperatures. Port is 159 and Starboard is 120 on the Smartcraft gauges. Which one is normal?

The temperatures typically average between 120 & 130 degrees.

I went out today and port between 600 and 1000 rpm temp was 159-170


starboard between 600 and 1000 rpm temp was 132-143

Strange thing is the port side has a little better water pressure

Strange thing is the port side has a little better water pressure

The thermostat is rated at 143 degrees.
