Hi,
The motor's new to me and I'm trying to fine-tune my prop (I have a thread going in the props forum).
The motor is a 1995, 175 hp carbed Johnson. 60 deg. looper. Specs call for WOT range of 4500-5500 rpm. Anyone have first-hand experience in terms of whether this motor tends to run best at the top of the range, or lower down? It might make a difference in selecting propeller pitch.
Thanks in advance!
