I have a 2008 115hp optimax mercury engine which has started to go into limp mode (3,000 rpm) no alarms and no info that comes up when a laptop is plugged into it. It started playing up a couple of weeks back and went into limp mode, when its rested for a bit i have full power for about 30 seconds before is does it again.
I've recently replaced plugs, leg oil and water pump kit.
I'm wondering if its a fuel pump or coil issue.
