I'd like not to have to change the binnacle and it can be routed to either pull or push the throttle. 2 questions... If i bought new merc cables (engine end connections would then be correct) does the control (binnacle) end match up or should i keep the cables and buy the adapter kit (82779) for connection to the engine? has anyone used/installed that adapter kit? If the merc cable will work with the 704 binnacle then I'd just buy new cables.....
