If you need to change your fuel filter and you have the red cog type filter canister, do yourself a favor and purchase the filter removal tool. Even though the manual says to use a screw driver to remove, it doesn't work. Once you break all the cogs off the top then you'll be slowly whittling the plastic out of aluminum threads (almost damaging threads). Once that's complete you have to drain the remainder of the fuel out of the housing and use a shop vac to get all the little red crumbs out. Pretty risky business. Anyhow, I didn't find out there was a tool for this until it was too late.
