I have 2001 twin 150 Optis and when I shut the keys off the port fuel pumps continue to run. Once I shut off the batteries they stop and when I turn them back on the pumps stay off.

Any idea what controls the fuel pumps on these motors or what to check first?

Thanks

Sounds like the fuel relay is getting a bleed from the keyswitch, try pulling the kill tether and see it it kills motor as this controls power to pumps...

Thanks,

The key switch does shut the motor down but the pumps keep running until I shut the battery switch.
