Hello,
I have 2 150 optimax dfi (yr.2000) motors. When I first turn either key on I get the 4 beep warning meaning check oil. I have read the service manual and have made sure that the onboard tanks are full and the canister on both engines are full as well, like the manual suggests I loosened the caps on the engine oil tanks and started the motors. Within approx 3 sec they began to drip oil from the loosened caps, so I have pressure. Both onboard oil canisters are full and the caps are very tight. Any thoughts or suggestions? I also get the one long non stop beep when I put the motors to use on the water, this beep does not stop (untill you turn the motor off) and the boat looses power (possible TPS?) Thanks for your time and advice in advance.
